The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Meet Rachel...

Remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned my new friend Rachel? Well here she is in person! She happens to be as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! Rachel is a talented woman, but one of her new 'hats' to wear is that of "Stylist." She's just like one of those talented stylists on the show "What Not to Wear" but with a much nicer disposition and a great dose of fashion and kindness all mixed together! She is just starting her business and is VERY reasonabley priced as she truly wants to help women dress their best and feel better in the process.

Since my mom's passing I have felt like several areas in my life need a makeover. After wearing the same poor quality clothing for years, it is time to adopt a more grown up, pulled together look! That includes a look that involves more than just wearing my daily standard uniform of jeans and Uggs!
Yesterday Rachel came to the house and brought everything below! She brought a rack full of clothes in the right colors and cuts for my body shape. She made a board of colors, styles and accessories that would be complimentary to me.
She charges such a reasonable rate for this service, and afterwards she 'styles' her clients with the best accessory of all...self confidence!

If you live in Northern Colorado and would be interested in her services, please e-mail me and I will put you in contact with the multi talented Rachel! (She also sews, designs and teaches classes on fashion!) If you don't live in the area but need some help revamping your style, remember it isn't about spending a lot of money...it's about wearing clothes that are the right color, fit, and style for you.
And don't forget the best accessories of all, a kind heart and a welcoming smile! :-)

Rachel sounds like a wonderful stylist! So Denise, now we want to see your new style. You are so lovely, I'm sure it was just a tweeking to polish off your looks.
Since I stopped working outside my home my personal style has become very casual and I don't buy as many clothes for myself. We all need a little polish now and then. Thanks!

I'm new at this, but got an award I wanted to pass along to you because you were one of my very first "commenters" when I SO needed the encouragement. Check out my site for your award!

That looks like a lot of fun! I dress so casual when I'm home, but if I am leaving the house I at least dress up a little. Jewelry, a bit of bright lipstick, and blouses with collars, etc. I never leave home in a tee shirt, at least almost never! Love my hoodies though. Hee hee.
You have to show us some of the new duds though, huh? C'mon! :)
