The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

OH OH OH, I love that set! I love anything with a coffee theme, and the blue is my fav, robin's egg blue.
Its just too too cute, and you are so sweet to do such a fun giveaway.
Hmmm, what did I do today. Well, I am lamb-sitting so my friends can go to Hawaii, but that's too fun to count...hee hee. Letsee, oh today my husband ate the last pumpkin bar, and per household policy had to wash the dish. But since he was outside watering our horses, I snuck in and washed it for him instead. He does so many things for me!
Now to talk about this on my site. Linky loo......woo hoo!

Denise, this is a wonderful giveaway! Please enter me! I'm not posting today because I'm busy getting ready for a close friend's daughter's wedding. Today, among a jillion errands, I'm making a wreath for the front door to greet the guests! I will post tomorrow and mention your drawing, so don't count me today for that. I am going to post tomorrow. :-) Does working on a party for one of your best buddies, her daughter, and her groom to be every day this week count as three??? LOL!

I'm so far behind in my blogging. I'm trying to race through blogland this morning and leave love notes for folks including you... oh, and I plan to put the pillow in the Pillow Parade that Kari and Kijsa are hosting again on Tuesday. :-)

Love to you...

XO,

Sheila :-)

Hi Denise! What an awesome giveaway but even better idea to have each person "pay it forward" and do something nice for others!

So, here's my offical entry and I've also posted about your giveaway on my blog (http://threadsoffaithfulness.blogspot.com)

As far as doing something nice for someone...I picked my hubby up from Costco today so he wouldn't have to wait around for an hour and a half while they worked on our car. We came home, I made dinner then I drove him back.

By the way, did you get your bows yet? I'm excited to see how you and your daughter like them!

Today we took lunch to Chico to a friend who's wife passed away this weekend......We have been taking meals over for sometime as she has been ill for the last 3 months....Today I also envited him and his daughter over for a St. Patricks Day dinner tomorrow evening....... Also I got a call from a good friend this afternoon who just found out her daughter has cancer so I drop what I was doing and took cookies and tea to her, so we had a tea party. By the time I left we were both laughing and smiling.....
I really love your giveaways! What a great idea.....You are such an inseration to all of us, just like your Mother.....

Yesterday I made a nice dinner for my hubby and had it all ready when he came home, then I offered to do all the cleanup etc and let him go take a rest on the couch ... does this count?? (I was working from home yesterday so my options for doing good deeds were somewhat limited since I didn't see another human being until 6 pm!)

Denise Let me know how I can be a contributor on create a home. I would love to do some segments.

I am back! I did one more nice thing for the husband. I don't like to made the bed. I think it is pointless. But he informed me that it makes him feel calmer, so I made the bed for him. Sigh.

Thanks for this giveaway- I like the challenge of trying to do nice for others. I need to do it everyday!! Thank you for making me move.

More good things for others? Hmmm. We had friends over today for tea and play dates. We sure had fun! Last night my neighbor did not answer her phone or her door..I got worried. I went over and waited by her door, and knocked/rang every 15 minutes until she finally came. Turns out she was sleeping hard..but I was so worried! She's been so lonely and sad. :(

Lucy Marie said...

Yesterday I baked some bread for some friends who will be coming over later in the week. I agree with Taryn - thanks for the motivation to get us consciously doing good deeds!

Hi Denise.......Sound like you are well into a busy spring early....
I just love the bows, I will have to do this for my granddaughter...
Today I am going to visit a good friend who has been ill and needs a little TLC. I am taking her some new cloths for spring, as she lives on a small income and has no family... I go to rumage sale at the church and buy really nice things for her.
Hope you and your family stay well, and a Happy Birthday to Ashlen.......
Beverly :-)

I left Adrienne her cell phone for after school, tucked away in her softball bag. She lost possession of it at school when she was caught texting last month, silly girl! I also called Caitie out of class to take more advil for her swollen nose..........see my blog today for that update.
Love you!!

Nice bows I have seen them up close and personal. I am off this afternoon to help paint a prop for the Youth group church play. My good deed for the day. I also delivered zeppole's to a friend who enjoys them. Hard to make and they very much appreciated it.
