The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Box Tops for Education

A small request...for any readers who are not participating in the "General Mills Box Tops for Education" program, we have a favor to ask! If you are not already clipping your "Box Top" coupons from General Mills products, keep an eye out for them and start saving! You can clip 10¢ Box Tops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products such as Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Juicy Juice®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and more!

Each Box Top is worth .10$ and the kids' schools are collecting them as a fundraiser. A school can earn up to $60,000 from this program! If you should happen to have any of these valuable "Box Tops" and do not need them, we will glady take them and put them to good use for needed items at our children's schools. You can read more about the program, and see what the coupon looks like at: www.boxtops4education.com. Whether you collect Box Tops for us, or your local school, thank you for supporting education!

Funny you mention this... I have a whole baggie full of them. At our school we have a Box Top "store" where the kids can buy things. Of course my kids don't attend the elementary school and I've been just collecting them, thinking I'd find the perfect kid to give them to.... well, I think I've found that kid!!! Drop me a note with your address and I'll pop them in the mail. :-)

Good luck!!!

Not to be outdone by Sue Ü I have some to send as well. It has been a few years since Preston has been at a school that collected them. I'll be donor #2!

It's so funny that you mentioned this when you did...Drew won a prize (a can of soup, Campbells of course, and a cute bowl along with some fish crackers) just yesterday for turning in the most boxtops in her school. We have the girls take turns turning them in for the year. My mom is a champion collector and I seem to buy the products that have boxtops now! I get very excited when a product we use has a double boxtop! I think it is a great program and a good way to get people involved that is not too complicated. Good for you for putting the message out about it! I hope you get a good response!
