The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Ashlyn's knee deep in snow

The freshly fallen snow was just like powder. Ashlyn and I were out at 8:30 a.m. and we just sunk right in! Our home thermometer says it is 19 degrees, but it sure doesn't feel that cold, especially with the sun shining.

What a winter wonderland in Colorado. I keep thinking how excited dad would have been to see all that snow and experience "Weather" with all of you. He would have loved it and would have been outside with you and the kids. Was Tom able to retrieve the kids' trampoiline? With this new batch of snow it may have to wait until spring! Keep those pictures coming. I love it! Mom
