The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Windblown in Longmont

Hello from windy Longmont! Do you see the object in the middle of the picture that looks like it could be a tree? That is actually our trampoline, which flew across the street and is tangled in our neighbor's fence. We awoke to our windows and closets shaking, with 40 mph winds and gusts to 50 mph this morning! Lawn chairs littered the lawn, and the trampoline was gone! Thank goodness no one was hurt as it flew across the street to the neighbor's property. Shall I add the winds as a Top Ten reason to move to Longmont? :-)
