Ashlyn's knee deep in snow

The freshly fallen snow was just like powder. Ashlyn and I were out at 8:30 a.m. and we just sunk right in! Our home thermometer says it is 19 degrees, but it sure doesn't feel that cold, especially with the sun shining.

Have you ever seen the design of an actual snowflake? We were amazed. I hope you can see the outline of snowflake patterns on the porch railing.

Where's the driveway?

Last night's snow covered our driveway for good! The neighbor's were all out with their snowplows attached to their lawn mowers. Tom just used his pick up truck to trudge through. We won't be homebound today after all!
