The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

Ashlyn and I enjoyed a "Mother/Daughter" morning in Denver, where we saw a fantastic Disney on Ice performance! Disney always puts on a good show, so there were fireworks, flying skaters, and lots of oohs and ahh's from us! We did have one BIG scare though during intermission. I lost Ashlyn for 10 minutes, and was in a panic! She walked off thinking I was behind her, and I was putting souvenirs away, thinking she was waiting for me. After 10 frantic minutes searching the sea of moms and kids up and down each section, we finally reunited. In 12 years of parenthood, I have never lost a child for more than a second around an aisle in the store, and this was the worst feeling! Thanks goodness it all turned out well...next time we're making the boys come with us! :-)
