The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Denise's Top Ten

Denise's Top Ten Reasons You Too Should Move to Longmont, Colorado!

We miss all our friends and family, and wish we could get at least one of you, to move out here with us!

Denise’s Top Ten reasons you should move to Longmont, Colorado!

10. Lower cost of living…Price of gas is only $2.83 a gallon!
9. Live near the mountains and enjoy great views!
8. Indoor pools and water slides!
7. The house across the street is for sale, we could be neighbors!
6. SNOW!
5. High altitude and dry air means no arthritis; back pains are gone for good!
4. You too can have your own milkman!
3. Never leave your car on a cold day…drive through pharmacies, banks, Starbucks, pizza, sandwiches, and smoothies! I have used them all!
2. School busses! Never wait in a carpool line again!

Drum roll...and the number one reason you should move your family to Longmont, Colorado is:

1. No waiting in line for Santa Claus!
(My Stoneridge Mall friends will all remember standing in that LONG line with crying kids for 2 hours waiting to see the big guy…come to our little mall and walk right up, no waiting!

Hi Koffords in Colorado, Loved your Top Ten list...very cute and hope you'll get some takers! I'll come for a visit and enjoy all that in two weeks. Glad the ornaments arrived. I mailed my Christmas cards today along with a package to Beth, Sylvia, and Jerry, and gingerbread kits for the Barrett kids. Wow, the cost of shipping never fails to amaze me. I think I've supported the postal system for the season. Love, Mom

Hi Denise!
Loved your top 10 as well. All except #6...snow. Don't think I would take you up on that one. Sounds like the promised land. Glad you are enjoying it!
