The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”

Hey you look awfully comfortable Lorraine!! I'm so glad you made it home! About time.... also, I see Roscoe is your buddy already. Looks like there's been more snow since last Sunday... beautiful view! Thinking of you and hoping healing will continue now that the hospital is a memory. My love to all! I miss everyone!

It does look like Lorraine is enjoying her new chair! Watch out Tom, she's not giving it up!

Glad to see you made it home from the hospital. It's been a long haul. Keep hanging in there. Keep that possitive attitude. You look wonderful.

I can't wait to hear Kyle play one of these days.

Love, Laura

You look fabulous! There's nothing better than being in a home versus a hospital. I am so impressed with the postings and the daily updates that Denise has done. Since I came to this site late I read them all at once. Keep your positive attitudes!Sending good thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

It is wonderful that you finally were able to come home Lorraine! We hope that all of you will have some relaxing times together. That is a pretty neat chair!

Ryan wanted to tell Kyle that he thought his new guitar was really cool. Megan wanted to tell Ashlyn that she looked beautiful.

Keep smiling!
