The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Teachers have a work day, kids have a play day!

Enjoying lunch out...
Trying on dresses at Dillards for Ashlyn's upcoming piano recital...

Kyle and his guitar instructor Jason at "Guitar's Etc..."

Playing football on the property...what a nice day off!

Friday was a teacher work day, so both Kyle and Ashlyn had the day off! Kyle had been sick Thursday morning, so he was happy to have Friday off when he felt well. The kids love Subway sandwiches so we enjoyed a lunch date, took Ashlyn dress shopping for her upcoming spring piano recital, and Kyle had guitar lessons. Tonight Ashlyn and Tom will attend the Girl Scout "Me and My Guy" 50's dance. Ashlyn is a huge cat fan, so instead of a "poodle skirt" we found a "cat skirt" in the same style! Pictures to follow!

Ashlyn, you look so pretty modeling your "cat dress!" Have fun tonight! You too, Tom! If I may do another "I remember" moment, I remember when I was a Camp Fire Girl at just about your age, and we had a "Father-Daughter Tea." It was special bringing my dad. You'll have fun!
And Kyle, the Rock Star! You'll have to entertain me someday on the guitar!
