The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Fun on the Farm

This afternoon, Ashlyn and her best buddy Megan, got to spend time riding the horses, tending the chickens, and learning about farm life at Briar Gate Farm. This was the first session of spring "Saddle Club" and it was a special treat that Megan could attend with Ashlyn and share those memories together! Two of my new Colorado friends; Joie and Beth, were also there with their daughters, so all the children had fun together. Here are a few photos of the horses, kids, chickens, and the collected eggs! We also discovered a wild bunny on our way out, (common in this area) and his picture is above.
