The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Bicycle Bliss

At long last...the day has finally come...a milestone has been reached...it is a day to celebrate...Ashlyn can ride a two wheeled bike! For one reason or another, time has passed by quickly, and we did not have as many opportunities to work with Ashlyn on riding her bike without training wheels as we would like. The last effort was made in the fall, but this afternoon on a beautiful, blue skied, 75 degree sunny day, Tom taught her the tricks to be successful and here she is! Notice Kyle and his trick riding! It's hard to believe, but the weather forecast for tomorrow calls for 3 inches of snow! We'll take the great weather while we can, and we'll watch the kids ride off into the sunset!

Yay, Ashlyn! Gee, I am remembering my own experiences as I picture Ashlyn on her two-wheeler! Such a day! (Thank you, Mom!)
