The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Tonight's Update

I spoke with my mom this evening, and she is feeling better now that the medications are doing their job. She sounded much stronger, and was relieved to be able to get some rest today.

Big thanks to all of you for your kind blog comments and encouragement. It means so much to us! Thank you to Toni B. for being able to run errands for my mom. This is so generous of you! Toni is in the middle of treatment for her own cancer, yet she is always willing to help. Your friendship means so much to us Toni! Thank you!

Big thanks to Annette and Gayle; for all you do unconditionally, for being there daily throughout my mom's journey, for being YOU!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I will pray for your mother. My mother was just diagnosed w/ stage II colon cancer.....

I'm glad your mother is finding meds that help. Does she live in California? I'm sure that is very hard on you....are there siblings that live near her?

God bless....
