The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Big changes to the little pond...

Work started this morning on digging out our little pond, clearing cattails, and enlarging the entire area. What a fun surprise when Tom came in and said that he asked to have an island formed! Of course the kids are excited to have a bridge to cross over for a picnic or fishing! There is a large berm area being formed where we will install a water feature...until then...here are some photos of the muddy work in progress!

We are glad to hear that Ashlyn is feeling all better! Denise it is nice that you have been so successful with your health changes. Keep up the good work!

Wow, the pond is now a lake! Can't wait to see it when it is all finished! It is going to be really beautiful!

Take care!

The excavating work on the pond looks really great. Looks like they've been busy clearing all the cattails. From the picures it looks like a pretty large area. I think it looks really cool, especially with a bridge to boot. Can't wait to continue following the progress.
I went to stamp camp today and we made 10 projects (with the help from my friends). We went to Round Table for lunch afterwards. Fun day. Love, Mom
