The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

We love you Mickey Mouse, but there's no place like home...

We're home after a fun filled week at Disney World! So much to share...here are a few highlights of the week!
Meeting Cinderella...after a mix up at the castle for a meet-the-princesses-dinner, we were given a pass to meet all the princesses without having to wait in line...unfortunately my camera shutter wouldn't open when they all gathered around. Luckily Disney photographers captured it all; I just need to purchase the photos! Thankfully my shutter opened for a glimpse of Cinderella and Ashlyn! What trip could be complete without an autograph from a favorite princess? :-)
Alice in Wonderland at Epcot...Mary Poppins was there too and said cute things like, "Spit Spot, come on over!"
Beautiful wildlife...
Impressive T-Rex model while waiting for the fun roller coaster...we got stuck on this ride for a few minutes, but after standing in line, it felt good to have some extra sitting time! hee hee

Parades and fireworks were always a lot of fun!

The rides...this Nemo ride was just my speed...S-L-O-W! hee hee

Dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe...the alligators, elephants, gorillas, etc...all move and "perform" during timed rain showers!

Here we are at Epcot...it started out rainy, but quickly the sunshine returned!

Dinner at the castle...Kyle and Tom were good sports as Cinderella's fairy Godmother and the mice danced and sung around us!

Relaxing at the resort...

Hooray...a special treat...getting to meet Anita from, "A wife, a woman, and a mom." Anita and I enjoyed a lovely lunch and walk around the beautiful, "Grand Floridian." Anita was just as warm, welcoming, and wonderful as she is on her blog! What a highlight to meet her! :-)

The whole family at Disney's Animal Kingdom...it was a great week, but of course, "There's no place like home!" It was a humid 86 degrees when we left Orlando, and a dry 32 degrees when we returned! Although we miss the beautiful weather in Florida and having the magic of Disney all around, it's good to be home! :-)

Denise, you have some great photo memories there! I know the time and memories you built with your family will be with you for a long time.
I can't thank you and your family enough for the time I was able to spend with you, it was fabulous! It was like chatting with a long time friend and such fun.
I look forward to your next trip to the Sunshine state!

Excited to see your post this morning before I go to church. Looks like you enjoyed the trip. Ashlyn especially looked over the moon. Can't wait to hear and see more! CM now has a disney download for their online books, that might be fun! Love you lots and glad it was a great trip!

Denise, I missed your blog so much, and YOU! I'm glad you had fun. The pics are so wonderful, love them all. There's nothing like little girls and disney princesses, we have lots of those stories and love them all!
I love your cheery blog music too. I will have to play it while I dance around the room or something. hee hee.
I'm so glad you had a good time. You deserve some fun after a very rough start to the year. I'm glad you took the time to go and just enjoy being together as a family.
Hope we can "chat" sometime soon. I'm jealous of your blogger friend that you got to meet! Pout! :)
