Today I buried my mother.
There is such finality to that sentence, and unchangeable reality.
As my lovely 3rd grade teacher said to me last night, there is only one time in your entire life, when that will happen.
It is a once in a lifetime event that is unwelcome, but inevitable.
So much to say,
So many thoughts swirling through my head,
So many people to thank,
So many thoughts to share.
But for now,
I must sleep.
I just wanted you to know that it was a beautiful day that honored her spirit and her love for all! More soon...

Denise, I hope you find the sweet rest that you deserve. I want to tell you that you did a fabulous job today at the service. Your Mom would be sooo proud of what you said and how you handled yourself with grace under pressure. Thanks for letting us share in some of your precious memories of your mom. Have a safe trip home friend.
It was an honor to be there at the end of your mom's journey today. Susie is correct you did a wonderful job on the eulogy and your whole family was an example of graciousness, love and strength. Rest in God's capable arms. I love you.
You were in my prayers today.
Denise... hope you get some rest.. God is watching over you... he knows! Take Care of yourself
Denise, I hope you got my email, I was thinking of you yesterday, and knowing what a tough day it was.
From the comments of those there, it appears you were strong and had many people who loved you to be with you and your family.
Denise - the service was beautiful. The words you spoke of your mom illustrated clearly what an amazing woman she was. I admire you for your strength in being able to deliver those words so gracefully. I continue to pray for you and your family.
Back in Colorado, we are praying for you and glad that you are resting. Take care today...we love you, Lorri and Scott
Denise,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm glad to hear the service was beautiful as I knew if would be. I'm sorry we weren't able to attend.
I'm not sure how long your eulogy was, but I would love to read it, if you care to post it for those of us who didn't get to hear it first hand.
Love, Laura
You are in my thoughts today. I hope you get the rest you need and know that God is with you.

Hi Denise...
So glad things went well yesterday and I pray you are resting peacefully today. You are in my thoughts.
Have a safe trip home.
Love you,
Sue
I am praying for God to find small ways to bring you comfort during this dark storm. You are an amazing daughter, the kind any mother would be so proud to have. Your mother knew you were her biggest blessing, and all that she taught you will be poured into her grandchildren. Its the kind of legacy that cannot fade. Much love and hugs to you, and constant thoughts are with you.
Denise,
We'll be glad to have you back in Colorado after this long, hard journey. I'm glad the service honored your mom's memory appropriately and know she is proud of you as she looks down and watches over you.
Love,
Kate
