The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

20 Year Celebration

Since Kyle was born on our anniversary, we celebrate on the first available weekend. Today, we took our friends Lorri and Scott's idea, and also celerated our anniversary at a new restaurant in town called, "Sugar Beet." Our friends the Johnsons, watched Ashlyn, so Tom and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner out!
Here's a photo of my delicious papaya and mango salad!
Tom's anniversary gift...a new set of clubs!
Mom's gift and new "toy", a lap top computer! Now I can e-mail, blog, and work on my memoirs wherever I go! With four of us waiting in line to use the family desk top computer, we were due for a new one, and I was fortunate enough to be the lucky recipient!

I know you will have lots of fun with your new laptop! I am jealous. Congrats on 20 years. That is nothing to sneeze at. We have gone to the Sugar Beet as well and loved it. Also glad to hear that your mom is able to continue to do things that she loves. She is certainly a strong woman who seems to take nothing for granted. We continue to think about her and wish her ongoing strength to do the things that she loves and to be with the people she loves.

Congratulations on your 20 years! My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary on Aug. 20! We were married in Iowa (my home state), but we lived in Colorado then.

Keep celebrating!
