The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Good Morning from Colorado!

Sometimes there isn't much happening that is note worthy, but then if I change my perspective, I realize that perhaps it is all noteworthy, as being alive to experience the mundane and the special is what this life of ours is all about!

Here is my "today"...

Sunrise over the pond...fresh snow is just beautiful!

Getting the table ready for my Women's Bible Study Valentine gathering...

The Girl Scout cookies have arrived! We'll be gettting them sorted and distributed as soon as possible. I'll be contacting you to arrange delivery! :-)

Off to run errands and meet a friend for lunch...

Have a good day friends, what are YOU doing today? I'd love to hear about your daily happenings...It doesn't have to be spectacular...even doing laundry is a gift when we look at how fortunate we are to just be alive! :-)

Lunch with a friend sounds great. Hope it was fun!

I worked this morning and am home this afternoon with a sick kiddo. I guess I will catch up on stuff around the house.

What a great outlook. I was also thinking that I didn't have anything "blogworthy" to report. I had Bible Study this morning and I am taking the dog to the vet for shots this afternoon. Pretty boring, but sometimes boring is good!

Beautiful pictures! All that snow looks great.

I got the kids to school, ran to get some V-day stuff together and am working now (well working and checking blogs!) Lots of people Valentine shopping today and a bunch of new product to enter and merchandise. I will be very happy tonight that I put a roast in the Crock Pot!

Hope the rest of your day goes well!

I am playing catchup on the blog circuit. I got behind for two days, and I have a lot of visiting to do. LOL! I just put a mailing into the mail that had to be hand addressed for over 300 people, and I just heard good news on my close friend's surgery (went well). So I'm in the house until I finish what I need to do here. That includes some tidying up around here.

I love that shot of your pond. It's lovely!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Ah, that pond is gorgeous.

I worked today and I am going to Bible Study tonight. Somewhere in this time period is where I magically whip up some grub. Suggestions? I'm thinking leftovers...or girl scout cookies.

p.s. the tables look beautiful, as does the snowy scene outdoors. Very peaceful, and have fun at your VD party (you know what I mean!)

Thank you for this encouraging post. You are right, it is great to be alive. I spent the day marking papers, doing laundry and packing. We're heading up north (8 hour trip) tomorrow morning for my grandfather's funeral. He passed away earlier this week. It is sad for him to be gone but I am celebrating his life and praising God that he is at peace!

Each and every day is a blessing and I appreciate the reminder to not take them for granted.
Today I worked at my job and then spent the afternoon doing g-shopping and finished up my valentine shopping. After I picked up preston from school I came home to check blogs and now I'm off to prepare my first dream dinners session. Wish me luck!
Love you lots,
(another) Kim :0)

Hope your day was fantastic, just like you!!

Today was busy, ok that's an understatement. This morning I had to go to the hospital for my Rho-gam shot. Then we helped clean out someone's entire house and take their yard sale leftovers and stuff they didn't want since they were moving. That lasted until 3pm. Then we went and built shelves in our storage unit so we can finish putting our seasonal decorations away. We didn't get quite finished with the shelves so we'll be back at it tomorrow...

Look at ALL those cookies...I feel sorry for you! Good luck sorting through all of them.

You should have seen me yesterday...both boy's had Baseball Practice at the same exact time yesterday...4:30-5:30pm and of course of all days, Paul is working late...trying to get two kids and two different places at the same time and half way across town is not fun...thank goodness they have nice understanding coaches...ha ha!

I am super busy at work these days...V-Day is one of Hallmarks biggest Holiday...ugh!!!
