Happy 13th Birthday Kyle! Happy 20th Anniversary Tom and Denise!

13 years ago today, on a sunny Sunday morning, this big guy was born! (Let's not forget that Sept. 3rd, 1995 was also the season opener game for the Raiders first game back in Oakland! Tom had to give away his tickets at 3 a.m. so we could head to the hospital!) On our 7th anniversary, Kyle Thomas Johnson Kofford was born! What a fantastic anniversary present he was!

Going back in time even further still...20 years ago today, in 118 degree heat, these two high school sweethearts were married! Fresh out of college we were married on Sept. 3, 1988! Red Bluff had record breaking heat that day, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a beautiful day with friends and family celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kofford!Tom with his parents; Ron and Billie Kofford.

Many of you who were there remember how HOT it was in the 100 year old church with no air conditioning! :-) This photo is taken from the balcony of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where we were married, where Kyle was baptized, where we held my dad's funeral, and where my mom still attends Mass every Sunday! What a history we share with this beautiful historic church!
