The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Jody's Sweet Tea Offer!

Thanks for your comment Jody on "School Supplies." It was great to hear from you! BIG thanks for your offer to come and sit on your porch in Georgia, and enjoy some sweet tea with you while watching the dogs play! If I could, I would hop on a plane and be down there tomorrow!! (Tara and Roscoe could come too!) Ü

Jody is the breeder that we got Tara Belle and Roscoe from, and she was so helpful in sending an action filled DVD of the dogs, and spending countless hours on the phone with me making sure I got the right dogs for our family. If you too are a Chihuahua lover, you can check out her website at www.ashlynchihuahuas.com. and see all her adorable dogs, and some photos of Tara and Roscoe too!

If you have time Jody, will you share with us your recipe for sweet tea? Jody knows how to make it the "real" way, since she's a "real" southerner, with "real" southern hospitality! Ah, be watching your front porch Jody, because one day I am going to surprise you, and I'll be asking for that glass of tea too!

If I remember correctly Tyler really enjoyed Atlanta when they were there on tour last year I will make sure and ask him about that. I've never been to the South but it sounds like fun. Especially when visiting friends.
