The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Crazy Horse Mountain

You know, they say the fastest way to lose friends is by taking out your vacation photos!! Oops... I hope that is not true as I still have a few more to share with you! Ü

Here are a few photos of "Crazy Horse Mountain." It is also located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and will be a monument honoring all Native Americans. Crazy Horse was a Lakota Indian, and the mountain is being carved out to represent him. It will be the world's largest sculpture when it is complete.

So amazing! I have been enjoying all the photos and I'm sure everyone else is too! You do a great job of keeping everyone updated and I for one am very glad of that!

p.s. I took the typing test and I'm slower than you. And I thought I was a pretty decent typist. Oh well.
