The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Arts Night Downtown

We had a great night of entertainment in downtown Longmont. The bands from Rock Camp performed tonight, and here are a few photos of Kyle in action with the group, and during his solo. We have had the best experience with "Guitars Etc." The instructors are great, and after the kids all played, the old guys did too! We enjoyed dinner out at local Italian restaurant, and I am now working on my valance project...it is not going very well...so much for no-sew! I'll post a few pictures later, so you can see my my-not-so-perfect work!

Kyle looks SO grown up in these pictures! Can you believe he is going to be in 7th grade next year? I remember the first of Tyler's gigs that he used to have. Just be thankful he just will have guitars and amps to transport. The drummer has many more pieces to lug around.
Tell him to bask in the excitement of the first outdoor gig!

My mom and I think alike. While I was looking at the pictures of Kyle performing I couldn't help of think of Tyler. Tyler was just about the same age as Kyle when he began to really get into guitar and music. How exciting!! So good to keep up with your family. Thanks for your comments and encouragement about my blog. It is all new to me but I really look forward to writing every night. I hope all is well with the Kofford's! Have a wonderful weekend.
