The Kofford Family relocates to Colorado after 40 years as Californians. In December of 2007, Grandma Lorraine is diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer. Sadly, she passed away on Dec. 26th, 2008 after a year long courageous battle. Follow our journey as we keep Lorraine's memory alive, and as we learn to appreciate that each day we are given, is a gift to be enjoyed!

Hiking to Cub Lake

While Ashlyn and I stayed back in Longmont to attend a birthday party, Kyle and Tom adventured into Rocky Mountain National Park for an afternoon hike. The weather in Longmont was in the 60's today, but up in the mountains the guys ran into snow and strong winds. Kyle came home talking about how cold it was and how his legs could barely make the 5 mile hike, but I think they secretly enjoyed every minute of braving the elements on this father/son adventure!

Beautiful scenery! What a neat place to go?

Tom, are you hurting after the hike?
