We're Home!

Hello again after 7 days! We have been in California the past week and had a wonderful time getting to catch up with family and friends during that time! Tom flew back on Mon. as he had to work, but the kids and I stayed a few more days and flew in late last night. We didn't get to bed until close to 2 a.m. due to one of the main freeways being closed down when Tom picked us up! Little Miss Ashlyn is up early as she is leaving this afternoon for her first Girl Scout camping excursion!

Much to tell and share, but we are in a scramble this morning to get her bags unpacked, so we can load them again with camping gear for today. I will post later and share all our photos from our time with Grandma Lorraine, the Koffords, and long time friends and family!

It felt odd to be "unplugged" from e-mails, blogging, and all our high tech hobbies we've become attached to. I must admit though, it was quite freeing to not spend so much time on the computer! Instead we had time to visit with family, golf, horseback ride, enjoy lunches out with old friends, play board games with grandparents, attend our nephew's "roping", the kids slept over with friends, and just enjoy time in our old hometown of historic Red Bluff!
