Our pond has been frozen over for a few months now, and today we got bold enough to try walking on it! We've all thought about it...we've thrown rocks across to see if they would crack the ice...we've sent items sailing across the top layer...but today, I just couldn't stand it another day! I had to try going out, and if I went through, Tom was there to save me! Fortunately, I was just fine, so we all had a try gliding across our little pond. Here's the Kofford Family sunning ourselves during our first winter with a frozen pond!

I'm sure enjoying your blogs & pics. Lorraine, you're amazing. I can't keep half the pace you do. Robyn and I are really trying to get each other to the DKG meetings. We promised each other we would work late, go to dinner and then go to the meeting Wed night at the new HS library. The last time we went to dinner and then to the meeting, we showed up at 6:00 when the meeting was at 7:00! It's hard for me to get myself to meetings on weeknights. I'll be around for rides when you get home. I'll keep an eye on the site calendar, but don't hesitate to call. I'm so close. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Denise, we expect pictures of the new car when you get it!
