The Bearded Accountant...

Here is my hubby Tom sporting a wooly new beard!

After years of working and having to shave daily, he is thoroughly enjoying the chance to grow a beard and be hairy! Having time away from work is agreeing with him...not only is he growing a beard, but he golfs a few times a week, exercises daily, has lunch with friends, is taking the kids to school, helping with dinner and errands, etc... Being laid off is great chance for him to enjoy all the fine things in life!

But back to the beard...I have a different opinion of this wild thing growing on my husband's face. He assures me he will shave it once he starts the interview process. Hmmm...maybe I will stop shaving my legs until then too!

I was a little worried when you mentioned the beard but it looks good. Now if it gets to ZZ top proportions then we have a problem. Sounds like your man is taking a well deserved rest. I for one think that is wonderful!

p.s. I am totally with you on the leg shaving hiatus as well....

Hey Tom remember in high school when Mr. Null said his beard had to go because the gray in it made him look old. I am just sayin.

Well the beard has filled in very nicely! Kevin's growth is never that nice, and like Tom, it has a lot of gray, which is is not thrilled about.
I think he might have a comment or two about the no leg shaving...LOL, I'm guessing you aren't fond of the fuzzy kisses?
Enjoy the time you have with him.

I have totally gotten spoiled having my husband at home the past six months! Part of me doesn't want him to find another job so I can keep getting pampered... then I look at the bank account!

Well don't you know that just means winter leg warmers for you? LOL. I think he looks so relaxed, sounds like all this has been good for him.

BTW, happy anniversary! birthdays just happen, but anniversaries have to be EARNED. That's my belief! :)
